Descrizione della location

Hundred Acres Reserve on the island’s west coast is fringed by a distinctive country lane lined with magnificent other-worldly Moreton Bay fig trees. The trees were planted during the Melenesian Mission period on Norfolk Island between the 1860s and 90s.

Note di scatto

These trees have striking roots which are extremely popular for photography. Due to the canopy of branches and leaves covering the road it can be a tricky composition to capture. Looking straight down the road with the fence line of 100 acre reserve to the left and the group of fig trees to the right can make an interesting shot - but watch out for traffic!
